Andy Needs A Kidney

Andy Needs an O+ Kidney!  Andy is a veteran whose kidneys failed him 3 years ago.  He endures dialysis everyday just to survive.  He has been hospitalized multiple times in the last year due to complications and infections.  His 2 children live in Germany and he’s restricted from traveling that far.  But there’s good news!  A donor has volunteered, but the donor’s kidney is not a match.  MUSC has a program that will find Andy an O+ if the volunteer will donate their A+.  The donor needs to fly from Phoenix, AZ to MUSC in Charleston, SC and stay 2 nights in a hotel across the street from the hospital for more testing and interviews.  If the donor is cleared to donate, they will need to fly back again in December to have the surgery.  By then, MUSC says they will have found an O+ kidney for Andy!!  Any amount not needed in July will be used in December.  Please, please, please help!  Give up a lunch, a 6-pack, or a pack of cigarettes.  Any amount will add up!!
