On Friday, December 28, the world lost Andy unexpectedly. Andy was adored by those whose lives he touched. His family and colleagues are joining together in this campaign to garner support for his wife Melissa and two children, Jackson (14) and Mimi (11).

To his family, Andy was an adoring husband, devoted dad, and a great brother, uncle, and son; he will be greatly missed. Each of us has many wonderful, entertaining, very loving memories of a funny, compassionate and thoughtful man.

To his co-workers, Andy was a wonderful colleague, friend, and researcher. Most of all, he was known for devotion to his family—his wife Melissa, and two young children, Jackson and Mimi. Their photos and drawings adorned his walls, door, and shelves, and he was never too busy to talk, especially if you stopped and asked about them.

Together, we are asking for donations to offset the sudden loss of income going forward, which will enable Melissa some time to figure out how to best live without him. Looking out for his family is, without a doubt, the best way to honor Andy, who loved them fiercely and unconditionally.
