On November 5, 2025, our dear friend Andrew “Andy” Kazimer, age 56, of Crown Point, IN, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his beloved wife of 26 years, Aimee, and their two sons, Avery and Austin.

Andy was one of those rare people who touched everyone he met. Known to many as “Handy Andy,” he was always the first to lend a hand — fixing, building, and helping others before ever thinking of himself. Whether it was repairing something at the office, helping a friend move, or volunteering his time in the community, Andy gave his all with patience, kindness, and humor.

A devoted husband, father, and loyal friend, Andy was truly the heartbeat of his family. Despite facing a health condition that prevented him from working full time over the past few years, he never stopped working in every other way — always finding ways to provide for and support his loved ones.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help Aimee and the boys navigate this difficult time. Our goal is to ensure that Avery and Austin can continue their education and that the family can manage the many unexpected expenses that come after such a sudden loss.

Andy gave so much to all of us — now it’s our turn to give back to his family. Any donation, big or small, will make a difference as they begin to heal and find their footing again.
