In November 2024 I had a prostate cancer test. This was following Sir Chris Hoy opening up about his own Stage 4 Cancer. My test came back positive, but fortunately for me we have caught it in its early stage and I am now regularly being monitored for any changes.

In September I'll be travelling to Glasgow to take part in the Tour de 4 2026, the cycling event launched by Sir Chris Hoy following his Stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

The event is about showing that a diagnosis does not define a person, and highlighting what life with Stage 4 cancer can look like: strength, resilience and determination.
