On May 23, 2018 Andy, Lisa, their sons Andrew and Austin Hartell, set out for what was to be much anticipated family vacation. They arrived in Phoenix and enjoyed a family dinner in Sedona, on their way to rest for the night, the un-thinkable happened. The vehicle they were riding in spun out of control, flipped, and careened down the side of a mountain. Extricated by the jaws of life, some of them clung to life as they were whisked by ambulance and helicopter to two separate trauma centers. Broken backs, pelvis, arms, legs, backs, ribs, and serious head injuries left them clinging to life. Although they are on their way back from the brink of death, three of them are nowhere near being back to normal. Some of them still remain in Arizona in rehabilitation before they can even travel back to their home in Illinois. I don’t have to tell you, medical care and deductibles are outrageous! Couple that with months off of work and you’re facing a financial disaster. That’s why I am asking you to please help the Hartell’s as they recover from this near fatal auto accident in Arizona. Once they are home, they will be facing months and months of rehab and getting back on their feet. Even if it’s just a dollar, reach out and show them that someone cares and is standing in the gap for them during this time of crisis in their life.
