We are Community 100 at Clark Montessori Junior and Senior High and we are raising money to help students to attend the Andros Island Field Study. This is a Rite of Passage for Clark 8th graders that allows students the chance to showcase the 5 goals of Clark Montessori- Peace, Respect, Learning, Hard Work and Community that they have been working so hard to hone for the past two years. The experience also takes them far out of their comfort zone and down to the solitude of Andros Island, Bahamas.  There students have the opportunity to study marine biology, sailing, Botany, and Bahamian history and culture.  

We are a racially and economically diverse inner-city public school in the Cincinnati Public School District that requires field studies, hands-on, off campus experiences,  as part of the curriculum.  As a Montessori school we believe that students should have the chance to thrive in a variety of real world settings while showcasing a variety of talents outside of just reading and writing. 

While students fundraise and take on jobs or extra chores  to earn money for their field studies, they sometimes need a little extra help in reaching their goal.  That's where you come in. 

When people like you donate to our fund, your money will help pay for a variety of things such as airfare, the cost of a passport, trip fees, snorkel gear, study materials.  You give students in need the chance to truly experience another part of the world and forever change their life.
