Andriy & Roman Need Our Help

Andriy Vodoviz is a beloved husband and father of four children. He and his wife Natalia, along with their children and Natalia's parents, lived in a cozy house in Holland, PA. They were living a peaceful life until the tragic events that took place in their homeland Ukraine.

Since the Russian invasion in February 2022, Andriy and Natalia have been actively helping their friends and relatives seek shelter in the United States through the Uniting for Ukraine program. They have already helped 12 people find a new homes, providing them with food, shelter, and all the necessities until they can get back on their feet. In addition, they have donated funds to support the Ukrainian heroes who are fighting bravely on the front lines.

Unfortunately, on February 15, tragedy struck. Andriy and Natalia's nephew, Roman, had just arrived in the United States with his sister to seek refuge from the war in Ukraine. While driving his car, Andriy suffered a micro-stroke and lost control of the vehicle. Both Andriy and Roman sustained life-threatening injuries and were rushed to different hospitals.

Andriy has undergone three major surgeries since then, including an open stomach surgery, surgery on his right leg, right hand, left collarbone, and left elbow. His condition had stabilized, and his vitals were improving. On February 27, he regained consciousness and was able to speak to his wife again. Friends and family were optimistic and waiting for a full recovery. However, on March 2, Andriy suffered another stroke in the morning, and doctors had to perform major head surgery to stabilize his condition. He is currently in critical condition.

Roman also sustained liver and head injuries during the accident. Doctors performed a liver surgery and post-traumatic facial reconstruction surgery. Unfortunately, he also suffered a brain injury and remains unconscious and sedated. He is also in critical condition.

Andriy and Roman are fighting for their lives, and Natalia is doing everything she can to support her family. She is running between two hospitals every day to be there for the two men she loves the most, taking a toll on her mental and physical health. She is a warrior, but she can't do it alone.

We are all praying for Andriy and Roman's speedy recovery. We believe that there are kind people who can pray for the boys and donate any amount they can afford to support Natalia's family during this crisis. As we all know, medical bills can be incredibly high, and Andriy's insurance only covers 90% of the expenses. We want to help Natalia take care of her family without the burden of financial stress.

Andriy is an incredible human being with a kind heart, always making others laugh and offering a helping hand. He is a friend to many, and we hope he can return to his happy, healthy life with his family soon. We know that with our prayers, support, and love, they can overcome this tragedy.
