Support a Non-binary mothers journey to be truly them

Hello, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Alex or Andrezi. I am a 31-year-old non-binary mom of two amazing children. Over the years, I've faced numerous challenges, being a single mother for most of my children’s lives, a crippling eating disorder, abusive relationships, and also the incredible journey of motherhood, which included breastfeeding for three years and a lot of ups and downs with weight. By the age of 23, I had already embraced the beautiful chaos of raising two babies, and now, after years of self-reflection, therapy and healing, I am ready to reclaim my body and identity.

I have decided to undergo top surgery, a significant and affirming step in my journey toward self-acceptance and freedom. It has taken me a long time to reach this decision, and I am excited to finally take this step for myself.

However, I am reaching out for your support. The cost of travel, surgery, and the time I will need to take off work—potentially over a month—adds up quickly and unfortunately a lot of gender affirming care is not covered. I am seeking funds to cover these expenses, and every contribution, no matter how small, will help me achieve this important milestone.

Anything extra left from fundraising in various ways will go back to the LGBTQ+ and Drag community, to continue to bring awareness, help pay performers, and other gender affirming fundraisers, etc.
