We Rise to Lift You Up

This fundraiser is on behalf of the family of Andrey Ozareo Shamalov. Beloved father, husband, son, brother and friend. Andrey passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, March 30th. He leaves behind his 5 year old son Yacob, my dear friend Ellyn Shamalov, his family and friends.

Last Fall Andrey, Ellyn and Yacob moved from New York to Florida. Andrey a RN with ER, ICU, Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical experience was the primary income provider for their family. In the wake of this sudden tragedy, Ellyn must navigate not only the tremendous grief of losing her soulmate, but now overnight as the sole provider to her young son Yacob.

I am fundraising to help Ellyn with the added financial stressors, such as the cost of planning a funeral. To help Ellyn with household expenses while she adjusts to the scary and unfamiliar territory as a single mother. There is no doubt in my mind that she would do the same for any one of us.

Andrey was 38 years, he and Ellyn would be celebrating their 7th anniversary April 3rd. He was a wonderful father and husband, honest and hardworking. His sweet soul, infinite energy and love will live forever in the beautiful memories of his life through his family, friends and all those he has touched throughout his career as an RN.
