Andrew was a lovely young man. His mother was my sister, Caroline, who was severely disabled and unable to care for him after his father left. Andrew was raised by my parents. His mother died in 2013.
Andrew played Rugby and American Football, he raced model cars, he was building a succesful career in (appropriately) construction. He bore a passing resemblance to a certain character in Star Wars and was affectionally known to his friends as Chewie. He was gentle and kind and always ready to help out a friend.
In 2015, Andrew married Roberta Minucci. They were made for each other, and their first baby is due on 20 February 2018.
Sadly, and terribly, Andrew was killed in a car crash on 11 January 2018.
As Andrew's uncle, I want to help raise a bit of money in his memory, all of which will go to Roberta to help fund a better life for Andrew's baby.
