It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Andrew Thomas Seagrist. Andrew passed away in a tragic car accident Friday March 12. Andrew always had a smile and greeted everyone with an eager hello. Born in Greenville, Andrew was a senior at Brashier Middle College Charter High School in Simpsonville and a varsity swim team member. He was also a cashier and bagger at Publix Supermarket. Andrew had many friends and a cheerful, loving personality.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a scholarship being established in his honor.
To honor Andrew’s life and carry on his memory, the Seagrist family is creating The Andrew Seagrist Scholarship. The award will be granted annually to a Senior Swim Team member at Brashier Middle College Charter High School.
A small portion of donations will go to the family to help cover funeral and burial expenses.
