Andrew's Struggle: Hardships and vehicle
Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and anyone willing to lend a hand,
Ever since my truck was totaled by a drunk driver in May 2024, my life has been a series of overwhelming challenges. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep going, but things have spiraled beyond my control. After losing my truck, I bought a bike and rode 6 miles a day to and from work, determined to stay afloat. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized with gallstones, and while recovering, I was hit by a car. The driver fled before the police arrived, and I was left with injuries that forced me to take time off work in June 2024.
Despite the pain and difficulty walking, I got back on my bike as soon as I could and continued riding 6 miles a day to work. Then, in August 2024, I lost my job of 8 years after another hospital stay due to gallstones. After months of unemployment, I finally started a new job in November 2024, working third shifts at a grocery store. While I’ve been working hard, I’ve barely been keeping up with my bills.
In January 2025, I received a court summons for a possible eviction. Despite trying to work with mediation, my landlord has decided to end my lease and has already rented the house to someone else. I don’t have the time or resources to get back on my feet, and I’m scared of what’s next. I have a young daughter and pets to think about, and I feel completely overwhelmed.
I’ve always been someone who tries to handle everything on my own, but now I’m at a point where I have no choice but to ask for help. I’m tired, stressed, and at a loss for what to do next.
I am asking for any assistance you can provide to help me get through this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go directly toward securing a new place to live and covering immediate expenses to prevent us from losing everything. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for reading my story and for any kindness you can offer. I appreciate your help more than words can express.
With gratitude,
