Hello, for those that don’t know me, my name is Bernice. I am Andrew’s sister n law. 

I have known Andrew since he was just 1 year old.   

Andrew just turned 21 on January 4th. In 2012 and 2013 Andrew lost both his parents. Since then I have helped raise him and become a mother figure to him. Andrew, is a very goofy, happy and funny person. He’s a great uncle to my kids and we love him dearly! unfortunately he was involved in a fire accident on January 24th. Since then he has been in the ICU burn unit. More than 50% of his body was burned including his back, legs, feet, hands and bottom. Due to the severity of his 3rd and 4th degree burns he’s had over 8 surgeries and multiple blood transfusions. He will also have many more surgeries coming ahead. We know Andrew is strong and will over come this obstacle, but unfortunately Andrew will have a long recovery ahead of him. Due to his injuries he hasn’t been able to work and needs help paying his bills. We are asking if you can help with any donations to help with costs of medical bills and all other expenses coming his way. No donation is too small, any amount is much appreciated. He’s still expected to be hospitalized for an unknown time. We are happy that God was with him and he survived the horrific accident.

On February 16 Andrew was able to get out of bed for the 1st time and managed to take baby steps with a walker.
