Andrew’s Bike Accident Recovery Fund

Hi Everyone,

This is Brittany, Bobbi & Brandy writing to humbly request your support for our father Andrew Black. Dad was in a terrible accident this past weekend and has a long road to recovery ahead of him. He was out riding his bicycle, as he normally does and was hit by a uninsured motorist. He is currently in the hospital with a broken femur, 4 broken ribs and a punctured lung. This accident is going to really set him back physically, mentally and financially. He will not be able to work for a few months which means bills will add up and we just want to help ease that burden for him so he can focus on healing and recovering from all of this.

The past few years he has found a new zest for life and the outdoors has been his place of healing, adventure & strength. We hate to see this accident set him back from doing all the things that make him happy. He is an avid hiker, biker, enjoys exercising and truly loves any type of outdoor adventure. Our father is not someone to ask for help and our hope is to help ease the hardship of all of the burdens that are to come with this tragic accident.

We know he will come out of this stronger than he was before but it will take some time and a lot of physical therapy to help get him back doing the things he loves.

Living across the country while he is going through something this difficult isn’t easy. Our goal is to try to help him in any way that we can. Anything helps and we are extremely grateful for each of you for taking the time to read this and helping our father recover from this.
