In April 2015 Andrew was admitted to Intensive Care at Nottingham's QMC hospital. After a few days he was transferred to another ward for close observation.
Given the nature of Andrew's condition (Pancreatitis) it is likely that he will be in hospital for a considerable time, this would be debilitating for anyone but for Andrew there is an added pressure of being self employed and consequent loss of income.
Andrew is a peripatetic piano teacher and has had to cancel a month's worth of lessons and concerts. This funding campaign has been started by Andrew's friends at St Giles church to provide a means of practical support at this difficult time.
