Andrew's Mouth Prosthetic

Donation protected
In May 2019, Andrew Klocek was unexpectedly diagnosed with a rare salivary gland cancer called Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma.  Shortly after receiving this diagnosis, we learned that the cancerous tumor had spread to the hard palate of Andrew’s mouth.  During surgery, the tumor and a portion of Andrew’s hard palate were removed.

Due to the removal of the tumor, Andrew now has a significant hole in the roof of his mouth.  This hole affects Andrew’s ability to eat and drink as well as talk.  Thanks to modern medicine, Andrew has the option to use a retainer like prosthetic that allows him to eat, drink, and talk.

Here’s where we need your help.  The prosthetic that Andrew is currently using is not a permanent option.  Once his tissue has completely healed from treatment, he will need a final prosthetic.  Unfortunately, the prosthetics are not covered by his health insurance.

Please consider donating to help with the cost of this final prosthetic.  If you are unable to donate, please remember to keep Andrew in your prayers as he recovers from cancer treatment and adjusts to these changes.

Thank you and God Bless!
