Andrew Ely left us on June 2, 2020. Andrew enjoyed camping, fishing, the Ninja Turtles and most of all he loved being a Dad to his 13 year old son, Nicolo, of whom he was very proud. Andrew enjoyed all sports and was loyal to the Giants, 49ers, and Warriors. During the playoffs, he would have his nieces wear Nicolo's old t-shirts to support the teams. Andrew's laid back demeanor included a love of movies, Family Guy, Star Wars, and video games, all of which he loved sharing with his son Nicolo.
Andrew leaves us with so many great memories, smiles, and stories. He left us too early after spending many years battling his own demons. He was just 36 and we know he has found his peace. He is now another of our guardian angels along with his sister, Elizabeth "Lyzzy" Ely-Tachis who preceded him in death 3 years ago.
He leaves behind his large family including his son whom he cherished, Nicolo Ely. His Beloved girlfriend. His parents Krys Kelley and Greg Ely (Rhonda Reames). His sister, Jacquiline (John) Ely Green. Nieces Emily, Katelyn and Abigayle and his nephew, Thomas Tachis the 3rd. As well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
We are asking for donations to cover the cost of his cremation and end of life expenses, any extra will be saved for his son.
