Hello, My name is Andrew Warenchak. I am 56 yrs old from Upstate NY. In July of 2021 I had a large tumor that was discovered and turned out to be an 18 lb SARCOMA cancerous tumor. After removing the tumor as well as my right kidney the doctors thought I was clear and no other treatment needed. Fast Forward to January 2022 through a CT scan it was discovered that the tumor had come back. By the time I was able to get surgery in May 2022 this tumor had grown to a size of 23 lbs..This time I was in surgery for 6hrs to remove this tumor as well as my appendix and a double bowel resection due to the tumor wrapping itself around areas. I am currently now going through cycles of chemotherapy using GEMCITABINE & DOCETAXEL.

 

Throughout my lifetime I have always been the type of person to go try to help others in need of assistance. I find it difficult to be here today to ask for help myself because this is new territory to me. In talking with some people close to me they have said it is time for you to let others help you in your time of need. Any type of cancer in itself is a battle and a hard thing to deal with mentally with the stress it causes. My cancer is rather rare being diagnosed with SARCOMA TUMORS which are very aggressive. I am considered a stage 4 cancer patient. I strive each day to go out and live life to its fullest. Im hoping with the amazing medicines they have today that I can beat this horrible disease.

 

I realize we are in some tough times during a rough economy. I am seeking donations to help offset the costs of fighting my battle with cancer. As it stands now I do have pretty good insurance however with the many doctors appointments and medicines needed I am running up near $300 a week in copays alone. I have had 2 surgeries in the last 10 months and during this time I was out of work for a total of 6 months. There is no donation that is too small. Any money raised will go directly toward paying my medical costs so I can continue my battle with cancer. I hope and pray the good lord above will watch out over me and get me through this...God bless to all of you.
