It is with an extremely heavy heart that we found out that our dear friend Andrew was hit by a car tonight when crossing the road and has passed away.
Andrew worked as a courtesy clerk at Albertsons on 57th for 26 years. He knew everyone on the South Hill. He was one connected guy!
The one thing he looked forward to every year was Hoopfest. He was the captain of the Ben & Jerry’s Coneheads. They won the coveted ‘King of the Losers‘ bracket. He was so excited to ‘win’ Hoopfest.
He touched many lives, you will be missed, friend!
As you can imagine, Andrew's mother, Erica, is devastated by the loss of her son. She was also not expecting this financially and funerals are not cheap. We would love to band together and help Erica gain closure and show the respect to Andrew he deserves. If it is in your heart to donate, we would love that! Every little bit counts. All funds will go to his funeral, medical, and other charities in his name.
