Help Provide a Dignified Farewell for Andrew Swart:
Honoring His Memory Together
Dear friends, colleagues, and compassionate souls,
We come together today to extend our support and empathy to a member of our Work Family who is facing an unfathomable loss.
Cecile Swart, a loving mother, a woman of strength, and resilience, who has always gone out of her way to be there for others and now finds herself in times of need after the tragic loss of her son Andrew Swart 21 to suicide on August 26th, 2023.
This heartbreaking event follows the loss of another son who tragically drowned in Lake Tapps just two years ago.
In times of profound sorrow, we have the opportunity to extend our hands and hearts to those who need it most. Cecile is now grappling not only with the emotional weight of losing two beloved sons but also with the overwhelming financial burden of arranging a proper and dignified burial for Andrew.
Our Call to Action:
We have established this crowdfunding campaign to ease the financial strain on Cecile Swart during this incredibly difficult time. Our goal is to come together as a community and provide the means for her to give Andrew the farewell he deserves. No amount is too small, and every donation is a step towards offering solace and relief to a grieving mother.
Who Was Andrew:
Andrew Swart was so more than his struggles and in times like this it is important to remember you that those who are survived by the tragic loss of a loved one need all the communal support available during this time of grief, he was a son, a brother, a friend, a security guard (loss his job 3 weeks prior) and a part of this community. By supporting this campaign, you're not only helping ensure a respectful farewell for Andrew but also showing Cecil that she's not alone in this journey of healing.
How You Can Help:
1. Donate: Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly impact Cecil's ability to provide a proper burial for Andrew.
2. Share: Spread the word about this campaign far and wide. The more people who hear Andrew's story, the greater our collective impact.
