Hi, friends and family. I have a medical news to share, which I had kept private for some time.  I eventually needed to seek help from Univ of Virginia (UVA) Hospital to deal with multiple health issues that, to my shock, were urgently life-threatening. While admitted to UVA hospital, I then contracted an aggressive infection that attacked my kidneys, gall bladder, and spleen.

I'm thankfully on a path to recovery, but now could use help with medical and living expenses in the near-term while healing. If you know any good samaritans out there who might help in a small way, even simply sharing this post with others, it would mean the world to me.
