Andrew Shields Memorial Fund

Andrew Shields, 14 years old, went missing on the afternoon of Sunday, May 21, 2023. As the days passed it became evident that Andrew may have taken his own life by jumping from the Riverdale bridge. Family and friends as well as the authorities searched diligently for him. On Saturday, May 27, 2023, our nightmare came full circle and Andrew was found. As horrible as it was, we are thankful he was found because the days of waiting and wondering were horrific especially for his mom. Andrew was a victim of bullying and has experienced great loss in his short life. His dad passed away last year after a month long battle with Covid complications. His family has been through so much heartbreak. People have asked how they can help so we’re setting up this go fund me account to help pay for funeral and memorial expenses. Funds will be also be used for counseling for Andrew’s 4 siblings (ages 10-16) and any other related needs. Thank you to everyone who has reached out in love and prayer.
