ANDREW, my love..
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Bertha, also known as Mom, and I’m fundraising for my daughter Melissa. This is her story:
Andy
Andy is the love of her life!! Married just 12 years ago, they still had a lot of living to do! Until this morning, when Melissa awoke and peeked out at her husband resting peacefully in his recliner with coffee and breakfast in front of him. She called to him her usual “good morning Andy!” but he didn’t respond. She assumed he didn’t hear her so went to kiss his cheek…he still didn’t respond. She panicked and dialed 911. Then she began mouth to mouth resuscitation…she was a CNA and he was still warm, he must still be alive!!! She continued/— 1,2,3 breathe—until medics arrived who also tried to revive Andy as they loaded him into the ambulance. Sadly Andy passed away at just 50 years old, without warning, without any known diagnosis. An autopsy will tell the story but medics believe a heart attack or stroke. Andy wasn’t just resting peacefully that morning, he was resting permanently and he had died suddenly with no apparent reason.
Melissa is devastated. Only 6 months earlier at Christmas time, she and Andy had lost their home to fire. It was a total loss except for the concrete foundation. They lost everything, including their pets. They planned to rebuild but winter was upon them so they roughed it out living in an old motor home parked on the edge of their property, waiting for springtime. It was in this motor home where Melissa found Andy that fateful morning.
So now we have a devastated widow looking all around her and seeing nothing but questions. What do I do…where do I start?
Which is why I decided to start this funding page on her behalf. She needs financial support yes, but even more, she needs volunteers: skilled technicians, builders, carpenters, plumbers, roofers, electricians etc. And laymen to add extra hands.
Whatever help you heart releases is very much appreciated and may you be greatly blessed for your generosity..to God be the Glory, great things He has done.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
A mourning Mom for her daughter
