The Island Skateboard Association is stoked to launch the Andrew MacKinnon Skatepark Rebuild Campaign!

We're working with the Province of NS and the CBRM Recreation Department to redesign and rebuild the park that launched so many skaters into the sport.

Inspired by the original park and the streets we grew up skating in, this project will see a re-build from the ground up by a team of professional skatepark builders. New features, new flats, and new landscaping will bring this park into the modern era of skateboarding.

But not without your help! As a volunteer group we are relying on grassroots fundraising to secure our portion of funds for this park. Every dollar counts and with your generosity we will cut the ribbon in 2026!
