Andrew Lingg, Council Member since July 7, 2020.
Our fellow Andrew has passed away.
While we enjoyed our Christmas with friends and family, his were reeling from the tragic loss of Andrew Lingg after a six-month long struggle for survival. He fought valiantly and seemed to make improvements before falling again. He didn't quit; again he fought and again he improved, but unfortunately his body could fight no longer when yet another affliction struck. He passed a few days before Christmas.
Let us come together to help Andrew's wife and family in these difficult days by helping to bear the burden of the expenses they will face to see Andrew one final time.
This Andrew introduced the Council to Andrew Slanker two days after joining. He was Andrew Slanker's best friend, the sorrow is especially near to him.
"Friends, it is with deep sadness that I report our fellow Drewd Andrew J. Lingg has crossed into the next life. As many of you know, he was fighting since August after a massive heart attack and resuscitation effort. The Council's support has meant so much during this time. For any Southwest Ohio Drewds wanting to pay their respects, let me know and I'll pass along details when they become available."

"Today's update is the hardest to post. It's over now. Drew fought hard and made it through so much, but today his body finally reached the end. He passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family. I will post again in the coming days with info about the arrangements once they are made. Thank you all again for the outpouring of love and support these last few months. It has meant so much."

"Yesterday we lost our big brother, Andrew J. Lingg . He put up an amazing fight the past few months, and passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. My heart is just breaking writing this and I can't believe it still. I want to thank everyone for all the prayers and love given to our family over this time, as it means so much. Please send love to his wife Maria, mother Cindy, father John and brother, William. Rest now, big brother, may one day we meet again. I'll miss you "
