Andrew Holder- You will be missed

We are all deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved friend, Andrew Reed Holder. He was an incredible man who touched countless people during his time here on Earth. Everyone loved being around Andy due to his remarkable ability to put a smile on your face. He was not afraid to be himself, which made him such an extraordinary person. He thrived in everything he did, most noteably his academics. The kid was a genius. He would get so mad if he got an A- in any of his courses. He graduated from UCSB without a single B and was well on his way to a promising future. Andy had a passion for the medical field and was pursuing his dreams with great success. He worked harder than anyone I know, pulling 70 hour work weeks and still finding time to spend with the people he loved. Andy's heart and drive to change the world will never be forgotten. He moved mountains with the amount of dedication and commitment to anything he put his heart into. Nothing less than excellence was ever enough for him, and it inspired others around him to pursue and challenge themselves to strive for more. The days are less bright without Andy around, but we're all grateful for the time we spent with him.
