It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew Heaton, a cherished husband, devoted father, and dear friend. His journey on this earth came to an end due to Metastatic Brain Cancer on November 30, 2023. Leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and countless cherished memories.

Born on November 14, 1982, Andrew Heaton was a remarkable soul who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. A native of Grande Prairie, he spent his formative years surrounded by the beauty of the Peace Country and its close-knit community. Andrew exemplified the values of kindness, integrity, and compassion, earning the admiration and respect of those who crossed his path.

In high school of March 1999, Andrew Heaton met the love of his life, Sheena Heaton, and they embarked on a journey together that spanned nearly 25 years of unwavering commitment, joy, and shared adventures. From moving to New Zealand for some time and then settled in the Greater Vancouver area. Their love was a beacon of strength and inspiration, proving that true partnerships withstand the test of time.

A dedicated family man, Andrew Heaton embraced fatherhood with boundless enthusiasm, love and knowledge. He was the smartest man we have ever met. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his children, Liberty Heaton, Ryker Heaton, Auckland Heaton and Lakynn Heaton; who were the centre of his world. His guidance, love, and wisdom will forever resonate in their hearts, guiding them through life's journey.

Professionally, Andrew Heaton was known for his significant career in wedding photography and video. Capturing the Love of many beloved couples, whom quickly became friends. He was an incredible story teller in all his photographs and wedding videos. His commitment to excellence and passion for his work left an indelible mark on his photography team and the wedding industry at large.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Andrew Heaton had a zest for life that extended to his hobbies and interests. Whether it was Video Games, Mountains, Travelling, Trivia and Family, he approached each endeavour with enthusiasm, inspiring those around him to savour life's simple pleasures.

In times of joy and sorrow, Andrew Heaton stood as a pillar of strength, offering support, encouragement, and unwavering love to friends and family alike. His infectious laughter and genuine kindness created a welcoming atmosphere wherever he went.

As we mourn the physical loss of Andrew Heaton, let us celebrate a life well-lived. A life marked by love, laughter, and meaningful connections. May we find solace in the cherished memories we hold dear and the profound impact he had on our lives.

A memorial service to honour Andrew Heaton will be held at a later date. To be announced.
