Andrew Harig Memorial Fund

On 08/02/2019 the life of a family friend was lost too soon due to a driver who suffered from a medical condition (The driver has since surrendered her driver's license). Andrew Harig was 20 years old and had his whole life ahead of him. Andrew was an amazing young man. His kind heart and caring nature could be felt by all who knew him. He excelled at everything he did. If you called him for help at any time of the day, he would be there without question. My family met Andrew and his family around 1999 when we moved in across the street from the Harig’s.  My boys and Andrew became great friends during the 10 years we resided there. Many birthday parties, outdoor playtime and several fits of laughter could be seen and heard on many occasions during the time we lived near the Harig’s. After my family moved from the residence we would often see the family throughout the years and get updates on family life events and milestones achieved. Recently, Andrew and my sons were reunited as neighbors by taking up residency in the same home across the street from where they first met. Their friendship didn’t skip a beat and continued where it left off.  Andrew would often come over to visit them and on more than one occasion would help with a small reminder of taking the trash and recycling to the curbside when they would be caught up in life’s daily hustle.  Andrew was always polite and respectable. His sense of humor and quick wit would have you laughing in no time.  Please help the Harig family during this emotionally exhaustive grieving process. It is with great love and respect I ask for your donation on their behalf. I have known the family for a little over 20 years and know they have been through some very trying times emotionally and financially. Your support is greatly appreciated. Any amount of financial support can help and all funds raised will go directly to his family.
