I lost my brave, beautiful, caring, loving husband Andrew “Nelly” on the 4th March 2024. Our children Saffy, Finlay & Tristan lost their Dad, their protector, our world . He endured 2 years of gruelling treatment and major operations for bowel cancer and never wanted to give up, he knew he wanted to be here for us always and tragically and cruelly this was not meant to be. Tristan raised over £2000 for Bowel Cancer these last two weeks and I raised £1700 in November thanks to wonderful kind donations. We’ve decided to have a memorial bench round one of his favourite walks for people to enjoy the view and contemplate life for a while. I’ve been asked about donations or flowers and feel this would be more appropriate for Andrew and for all who knew him to enjoy. He is the most incredible and humble man who would do anything for anyone and his passing is too painful to contemplate.
