Andrew Gehring was the brightest light and loving friend. Born May 8, 1999 died August 24, 2021. Survived by his mother Nichole; siblings, Jakob, Dominic, Isabelle & Skyler; Grandmother Sandy (Nana); Great-Grandmother Lillie; Aunts Karey (John) and Heidi (Dan); and cousin, Louise. Predeceased by Grandpa Thomas (Papa); Great-Grandparents Edward & Lorna.
Andrew was born in Princeton and grew up in Elk River. He was extremely creative in the kitchen; he was interested in all things cooking and envisioned starting his own food truck someday. He could create his own signature dishes or make a Chipotle burrito you didn’t know was homemade. Andrew also had wonderful gardening and canning skills just like his Papa.
Arrangements: For Andrew’s expansive friend-circle, a celebration of life will take place outdoors at the Elk River Lion's Park Pavilion #4 (1104 Lions Park Drive, Elk River) on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Please come and share stories and memories of Andrew. Wear Purple!
A memorial luncheon will be held at the Elk River Legion (525 Railroad Drive, Elk River) on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2-4 p.m.
Purpose of Fundraiser: I am Andrew's aunt, Karey White, and will be responsible for using the funds raised to pay for Andrew's funeral & memorial expenses, and to support his younger siblings with age-appropriate counseling.
