Andrew & Family dealing with serious illness

Hi, my name is Katie Chester and I am Andrew Melnyk's mother. Andrew was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January 2020 and had surgery to remove his left testicle. There was a small lymph node that his doctor's were watching, as it could be cancer or just swelling. It turns out that the lymph node was cancerous and has increased in size significantly requiring Andrew to get chemotherapy treatment. This has put a HUGE strain on the family, and they are not able to cope without help. They are trying all of their resources, but it is just not enough. The family had to leave their home in Alpine, TX and move to San Antonio to receive the cancer treatment that is required. They are currently living day to day in temporary housing and dealing with significant medical bills. Andrew is a musician and has a wife and 3 precious children. We are thankful for all of our friends and family and for their love and support in this difficult time, as they see fit. We are humbled to reach out to our friends and family in this way, and we are full of gratitude for all the love and support we have received on this journey in life.
