Update: I wanted to thank everyone for helping Andrew! With your support we have raised over $10,000 to help with his current personal finances. His mother & girlfriend are overwhelmed with the love and generosity that everyone has shown. I would personally like to increase our goal to $15,000 since he is in critical condition. He is still sedated & will obviously have a very long road to recovery. Thank you all so very much for helping them. ♥️♥️♥️
On 4/20/2023, Deanna Gietl's son, Andrew Duncan, was injured during an explosion at work. Andrew is a 22-year old, U S Army Calvary Scout, who has a long road to recovery. Andrew took the brunt of the explosion. He is currently on a ventilator because his lungs are damaged, his face is burned and swollen and his arms are covered in gauze to protect the burns. His injuries were so extensive, he was taken to a hospital in Springfield. As of 4/26/23 he has been flown to STL for care & recovery. It is estmated that he will be in the hospital for several months and will not be able to work. While this is a work-related injury, he will still need an income to pay for personal expenses while he recovers. All funds will go directly to Andrew to help cover monthly bills. Anything you could contribute would be truly appreciated. Thank you so much for your help.
