My 4 year old nephew Andrew is the very definition of active BOY. In November, this fearless, non-stop, running, throwing, jumping and laughing little boy just stopped. After many doctor visits, weight loss, days in bed, nights with spiking fevers, my sister Marisa (Ferzoco) insisted that her son had something more than a virus.
On December 22, 2016, Andrew was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and spent Christmas in the hospital with his mother and his sister Kali. Drew is such a brave boy and did well with his first round of chemotherapy and he is responding to treatment. Unfortunately, he still has a very long road to go. Marisa is a single mother and sole provider for her children. The treatments mean long hours in the hospital and many doctors visits which limit her ability to work and provide for her children. She has moved in with our mother to help with the costs but it really is not enough.
Please help me raise money to give Marisa and her family some relief during this path to recovery.
