My name is Frank Riccobono, I have been best friends with Andrew D'Ambrose since October 2012. I am helping Luke D'Ambrose (Andrews Younger Brother) prepare funeral arrangements during this tragic time. We will be using all donations towards Andrew D'Ambrose Funeral & Burial Services. We have an appointment this morning @10AM at Gleason Funeral Home in Whitestone. Funeral arrangements will be finalized by today and shared here for everyone.
With a heavy and broken heart, I am reaching out to everyone that knew Andrew D’Ambrose. God blessed me 9 years ago when I first met Andrew D'Ambrose through a mutual friend that referred him and his family to take a horse-drawn carriage ride in Central Park during mid-December evening. Since that day we became best friends. He was the best man at my wedding. I stood by his side while his son Marco was born. We made many priceless memories throughout the years and he was truly God sent. I am devastated about losing my best friend but I truly feel I was brought to his life for a reason and today I know it was to help him have the most unforgettable funeral services in Whitestone. It would mean the world if you can please show some compassion and have Andrew receive the funeral services he deserves. I, myself will be donating the last ride for Andrew on a Horse Drawn Hearse Carriage through Whitestone as well.

Andrew D’Ambrose, a man who chose a life of helping others now needs help laying him to rest.
An Angel and God sent to many - helping people achieve a life of sobriety - saving those from the pain and suffering of addiction has passed on into God’s loving arms.
Andrew would put strangers in front of himself, a selfless individual helping those in need without hesitation and with love in his heart. Andrew didn’t have an easy life by any means, he lost his teenage daughter in a car accident, he lost both of his parents, and is survived by his brother Luke and two young beautiful Children Cecilia and Marco. Andrew would give his last dollar to buy a cannoli and coffee for friends to see them smile instead of picking up a drug. Andrew took all the pain he had endured and used that to drive out his own addiction - by helping hundreds and touching perhaps thousands of people's lives - when he needed the help most. He saved my life and he has saved others from themself.
Andrew lead AA meetings during the Coronavirus when many Churches and gatherings could not, calling his group “Corona by the Sea” - when things couldn’t get any worse for people during the pandemic - Andrew put his own life on the line and spearheaded this group to success by organizing and helping others achieve and continue a life of sobriety - even catering BBQ out of his pocket and feeding friends and strangers alike -
Please help us to lay Andrew to rest and give his soul an eternity in Heaven. Please find in your heart the willingness to give as Andrew gave so much of himself to us.
