"Skippy" is responding well to treatment. He is now able to bear weight on his left hind, and is able to be led to the wash stall to have the leg cold hosed.

He still has a long haul ahead of him.

In just over one week, we have raised a third of his veterinary costs.

Hi, my name is Debbie Watson, and I am fundraising for my good friend, Andrew Dalnoki.

Andrew is now 84 years old, and his health is frail. He lives on a fixed budget, with not much wiggle room.

For over 60 years, he coached/instructed THOUSANDS of riders in both dressage & jumping. He taught at Eglinton Equestrian Club for over 30 years, then went on to form his Colony Stables in Bradford, Ontario, where he had a co-op program for students.

His bloodlines were renowned, and well sought after. He was a popular judge at many Canadian Warmblood Association shows.

Some of his well known students were Olympic rider Lisa Carlssen, and he taught Canadian singer Alannah Myles how to ride.

Andrew has dedicated his life to the betterment of his sport, and the education of his students.

Now it's time for us to help him, and pay that kindness back.

His beloved Skippy (pictured with him) is 24 years old, and has recently suffered a serious suspensory ligament injury on his back left leg. The vet bills are already astronomical - Andrew is exhausted with worry and anxiety as to how he will pay these bills on his limited senior's budget.

Skippy is the last of his bloodline, and is like a son to Andrew. He is the reason that Andrew gets up every day, and is quite literally the old gentleman's life.

For those of you unable to help financially, you can help by sharing this with friends. Andrew Dalnocki was a master instructor who taught generations. His greatest lessons were not always in the saddle; sometimes they were about humanity & compassion for both rider & horse. His greatest joy was when one of his students exceeded their aspirations.

Andrew & Skippy were the ones that got me riding again after a bad injury 7 years ago left me locked up with fear. I want to pay his kindness forward. Please do what you can. God bless.
