Hi, I'm Katie Snowden. This picture you see right here, it's my husband Andrew. Andrew is a husband, father of 4 ages 6 and under, and Marine Corps veteran, having served an Iraq War deployment during the Second Battle of Fallujah (video link included). This was the bloodiest battle of the Iraqi War and Andrew lost several friends and was nearly beheaded himself on top of the already catastrophic environment. He served with artillery, which are the BIG guns and they also backed up infantry. A lot of those memories, thoughts, feelings, and experiences were shoved into the back of his head until about 3 years ago when we started noticing a severe uptick in PTSD symptoms. His coping mechanisms have since gotten worse and getting the right treatment has been difficult.

However, while he was at the VA recently, one of the nurses, a fellow combat vet, referred him to a 6+ week program that would help him begin the healing journey. Check out the Warrior's Heart Healing Center here. Andrew has decided that after years of looking at treatment options, this is hopefully the perfect fit.

While our insurance is phenomenal, it doesn't cover everything. Without sounding too cheesy, I'm asking for help for a husband, father, and veteran who just needs help getting back on track so that he has the opportunity to live a full, peaceful, and loving life.
