Andrew Carrell Needs Our Help

My brother Andrew is a musician. He lives to entertain people and bring joy to their life. Nothing makes him happier than a fan coming up after a show and saying “I was having a bad day until I came to you guys’ show”. Unfortunately the price of being a musician, while rewarding, is living from gig to gig.

  Recently, his band was contracted to play on a Country Music Cruise. He was excited to do this, and spirits were high. Unfortunately, it also led to disaster. On the second day of the cruise, a lady in front of him slipped and started to fall. Andrew caught her and prevented her from getting hurt, but in the process, got hurt himself.

  The cruise had limited medical services, but x-rays revealed that he had broken his ankle. The day after returning home, he saw a doctor and got the bad news .... surgery would be required . Two plates and 15 screws needed to be added to stabilize the ankle. Along with that, it would require months of recovery time.

  Unfortunately, because he “voluntarily put himself at risk by helping someone”, the cruise line bears no liability. While his insurance covers the majority of medical expenses, It doesn’t cover living costs.... food, bills, etc..

  He is off work indefinitely, so this is an incredibly difficult time for him. Everybody needs a little help sometimes. In the process of saving someone from getting hurt, Andrew is now in need of help. Anything you can pitch in would be a huge help during this difficult time.
