Andrew and Ginny Weiss

Hello, My name is Pam and I am raising funds to help Ginny and Andrew Weiss.

Imagine the day to day life of work, sharing a delicious meal, spending time with family and friends, looking forward to a nice holiday, sending cat memes to your spouse.

And from one day to the next, it all stops.

Andrew Weiss was rushed to hospital on 24 August and since then has either been in an induced coma or heavily sedated due to pancreatitis. His loving wife, Ginny has been holding together all the pieces of their life - including doing everything possible to keep normalcy for their 6 year old son. The shock of this diagnosis and the stress of his unknown prognosis would be debilitating.

The financial pressures for the Weiss family will quickly add up. Providing funds to assist them during this scary time will certainly lighten the mental load. Each day brings news and more waiting. Through all of the unknowns, Ginny continues to keep her family and friends updated. She continues to make sure Andrew is cared for and loved. She makes sure her son is cared for and loved. It is up to us to make sure she is looked after.

Ginny, Andrew and Asher have no family nearby, and those of us who live far away from them can show support through giving a donation. While Ginny says she feels very strange accepting donations, especially given the financial pressures many families are under right now, she acknowledges that many of us feel helpless and would like to contribute in some way and is very appreciative.
