Andre was a bright and compassionate 16-year-old attending Orcutt Academy High School as part of the 2028 Cadre class. He was known for his love of math and science, his straight A grades, his kindness and his willingness to help others.
In December 2025, Andre was diagnosed with an aggressive germ cell tumor between his lungs. He bravely completed two rounds of chemotherapy, showing incredible strength, bravery and resilience throughout his treatment.
Despite his courage and favorable prognosis, Andre faced severe autoimmune complications and passed away unexpectedly on March 11, 2026. His loss has left a profound impact on his family, friends, and the entire Orcutt school community. Andre’s kindness, academic dedication, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew him, and his memory continues to inspire those around him.
To honor Andre’s legacy and continue his passion for learning and helping others, we are establishing a scholarship fund in his name. This fund will support graduating Orcutt Academy High School students as they pursue higher education, carrying forward Andre’s dream of making a difference in the world.
In lieu of flowers, any contribution in Andre’s memory would mean so much to our family and will help future students achieve their dreams.
Thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
