Andrés is going to Spain! (With a little help!)

Andrés has maintained an unwavering focus on anything he puts his mind too. Despite his academic and social success, he has found time to excel in soccer as well. Years of hard work have paid off.

Having secured his official FIFA registration as a player last year, opportunities and experiences are opening up for Andrés at a rapid pace.

By far, the most surprising, also includes a bit of a price tag. Andrés has been one of the few players selected to represent R17 Sports Management out of Puerto Rico on a tour of "Fútbol España". The trip is to take place in mid June 2024 and will cost us around $10k (including us as parents)

La Liga of Spain is arguably one of the most watched professional soccer leagues in the world. Both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have played in it. Real Madrid and Barcelona are the world wide recognizable teams from the league.

This one in a lifetime experience for Andrés includes a full exposure of life in La Liga. Andrés and the other players from Puerto Rico will spend entire days with the team of the day. Starting with breakfast in the morning, the day includes all regular training and meals with players until early evening. There are a total of 8 teams and stadiums he will visit.

The life long experiences and contacts to be made are immeasurable at this time. We could not be prouder of him to see the results of his focus.

This entire experience would be any soccer kids dream. Andrés fully understands this. As he has done with anything in life, he understands this is bigger than him. In his own words "I have to do my best for all those that don't have a chance."
