My little cousins were in the care of a babysitter while their mom and dad were working on August 23rd. This babysitter neglected to do her job at the cost of my baby cousins life. Andres was only 2 years old and was not being watched. He had time to exit the house, climb a pool ladder, and be drowning for 20 minutes before he was found. The babysitter wasn’t even the one to find him or notice he was missing, his 10 year old sister found him in the pool and had to help get him out of the water. Now officers are trying to sweep this under the rug and not hold the babysitter accountable. This lady was nothing but neglectful and now my family has to bury a big piece of our hearts. Anyone who knew Andres loved him and his big ball of energy. All donations will go towards the cost of his funeral and take some of the burden off of his parents and family.
