Hi, this is Lori, Andre’s wife and unfortunately I have to make this Gofundme because we have no other choice. Currently Andre has no health insurance because I failed to add him on when I started my new job in June of this year. Andre is a hardworking, self employed carpenter just looking for a break. He is scheduled for surgery this Friday 11/3/2023 to remove a tumor found in his colon about 6 weeks ago. The surgeon does not want to wait until January 2024 when he will have insurance as the medical team does not know how aggressive the cancer is. He is scheduled for surgery at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township and they are asking for a large sum of money upfront. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Sorry for those of you just finding out about this in this way but the last 6 weeks have been hard.
