Vale Andrei Maz (1971–2026)

It is with broken hearts that we say goodbye to Andrei Maz – a beloved husband to Louise, devoted father to Ruby and Jude, treasured son, brother, uncle, friend, mentor and one of Perth’s most respected DJs and musicians.

After an incredibly brave eight-week battle with an aggressive and advanced gallbladder cancer diagnosis, Andrei passed away at just 55 years of age. Despite enduring a lifetime of health challenges and unimaginable pain in recent weeks, he remained courageous, generous and full of the humour and warmth that made him so loved.

For decades, Andrei brought joy to thousands through music. As a lifelong musician and full-time DJ, he worked as a sole trader and was the primary income earner for his family. His sudden passing has left his family facing not only profound grief, but significant financial uncertainty.

We are seeking to raise $16,000 to help cover funeral expenses and provide immediate support for the family. Any additional funds will help ease financial pressures, giving Louise and the children the time, space and breathing room they need to heal during this incredibly difficult period.
