A DREAM FOR ANDREA...
- to have a normal, fun-filled, healthy childhood...
Instead of the one that has consumed her for the last year and 10 months. In Feb of 2013, Andrea was diagnosed with and immediately started the fight against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), also called "acute lymphoblastic leukemia". This is an aggressive cancer that starts from the early version of white blood cells called lymphocytes in the bone marrow (the soft inner part of the bones, where new blood cells are made). To date, Andrea has been in and out of hospitals, and on chemo weekly. All she wants is to live a normal, healthy, vibrant fun life that any other healthy 13 year old would be able to have.
To add to her plight, her mother was diagnosed prior to her cancer diagnosis with MS in 2012 and since then, has had to leave her job to care for Andrea as her health degraded. Additionally, her father had a serious on the job accident in 2011, leaving him permanently disabled and without steady income for the family. Needless to say, this family has had a really rough go and "Andreas Dream" is "normality"...
Myself and a few other fellow Wallkill residents and neighbors of this wonderful family came to know of her battle and now have unified together through the Hope for Hailey campaign and are helping them in any way we can.
When you give to "Andreas Dream", all of the funds will go directly to provide Andrea with a better living environment at home and for the ever growing, and seemingly insurmountable medical bills incurred as she fights ALL.
Can we count on you to generously give to her cause and make her Dream of normality come true? Thank you for reading and providing. May God bless you and yours...
