Andrea's Medical Fund

Hi, I'm Donna Gabriel and I'm a friend of Andrea Stokes. Andrea is a talented artist, a great mom to two amazing girls and just an all-round cool gal.  She was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma and while it's a highly treatable form of cancer and the prognosis is good, she's pretty sick, and has recently begun chemotherapy which will take her into the spring of 2017.

Aside from continuing to paint, Andrea can't work much these days. She was forced to cancel plans to turn her ice cream shack into a winter business when she got sick. Her Airbnb is on hold. Finding  paid work contracts that can accommodate her chemo schedule and recovery time is difficult. Money is very tight.

I wanted to reach out to her large circle of friends for some financial help for Andrea, a widow and single mother to two  teenage girls. The funds will go towards paying utility bills such as water and heat, food. The basics for the next six months. 

Andrea has enough on her plate dealing with raising her girls and getting well again without the hardship of worrying whether there'll be hot water the next time she turns on the tap.
