Andrea's healing journey:

Life can change in an instant—and for my dear friend Andrea, it has.

Andrea has recently been diagnosed with bile duct and pancreatic cancer, a devastating and aggressive illness that demands urgent and intensive treatment. As someone I’ve had the privilege of having as one of my very best friends for over 30 years, I can tell you with certainty: she is one of the most generous, caring and kind-hearted souls I have ever known.

Andrea is not only a mother, sister, daughter, and friend, she is much much more than that. Andrea has a special gift where she lights up every room she walks into. Her smile is contagious, her compassion is endless, and her energy has always uplifted those around her. Andrea magically touches every life she comes in contact with.

Whether offering a warm hug, a listening ear, or a helping hand, Andrea has always shown up for others—without hesitation and without expecting anything in return.

Now, she needs us to show up for her.

While Andrea is bravely beginning her fight—taking on chemotherapy, which she may be on for the rest of her life—she’s also embracing complimentary holistic treatments to support her healing and improve her quality of life. These treatments, offered through the Marsden Centre for Integrative Medicine, include specialized nutrition and IV vitamin therapies (high-dose Vitamin C), along with natural supplements.

These therapies can play a critical role in reducing the side effects of the chemo, boosting immunity, improving energy, and supporting her emotional and spiritual healing.

But these integrative therapies are not covered by insurance. And they come with a heavy financial burden.

Andrea’s treatment plan includes 2-3 sessions per week for as long as she is doing chemo. With each session costing between $250–$350 (depending on dosage), the total estimated cost for therapies, consultations, and related expenses just for the next six months, is upwards of $20,000. Every dollar raised will go directly toward her care—$25, $50, $100—whatever you can give will help ensure Andrea has access to the full spectrum of healing support she needs and deserves. This, is how we can show up for her.

This campaign is a call to community—a chance for those who love Andrea, and even those who don’t yet know her, to be part of her healing journey. Your donation will ease her financial stress, so she can focus fully on fighting this disease and reclaiming her health.
