A few days ago, our lives changed forever.
Andrea Veiga Nagel, mother of Alicia (10) and Guilherme (20), a woman full of light, joy and love for life, suffered a hemorrhagic stroke while at the club house in Delray Beach. They were moments of pure despair: 3 aneurysms, one of them ruptured, causing severe cerebral bleeding.
It was more than 15 days in the ICU, 3 of them intubated, between life and death. The initial prognosis was frightening - the doctor said that there was only a 3% chance of her returning to normal life without sequelae and that, in 50% of cases, patients do not survive a situation like this. But, by the grace of God and with great strength, Andrea is exceeding expectations and today she is in intensive rehabilitation, preparing for a new surgery that will be necessary to correct a brain malformation (AVM) and treat the other two remaining aneurysms.
But the fight is not only hers.
Marcel, her husband, left work to be by her side 24 hours a day. The family's income has zeroed, and the bills - especially medical - do not stop arriving. Treatment, surgeries and therapies have a very high cost.
Therefore, we need to join forces to raise resources.
This amount will guarantee:
• The next brain surgery
• The continuity of rehabilitation therapies
• Coverage of family medical and basic expenses
Each donation is a step for Andreia to have the chance to live fully again.
Even if you can't contribute financially, share this campaign. Your gesture can reach someone who can help.
