A/SYMMETRY SENIOR COLLECTION

I am currently raising money in order to make my Senior collection called A/Symmetry at the Savannah College of Art Design. It has been a project that has been worked on since Summer 2015 and will be presented in Spring 2016.
The inspiration for this collection came from watching Wes Anderson films and observing his use of symmetry in scenes. Therefore, I decided to use my photography and create this element with architecture as well as objects. I also started experimenting with the human body, in which I realized there was no perfect symmetry thus leading me to experiment with the concept of asymmetry.
Throughout this collection, I will be showing the use of both symmetrical and asymmetrical shapes as well as the use of vinyl, jerseys, and twills for fabrication.
The funds raised will help me with all the spendings with fabrics, trims, and other supplies.
