Hello Family & Friends,
I have established this gofundme page in efforts to fund the travel, food, and boarding costs for my mission trip to the Amazon River, Brazil, which is planned for Oct. 28th - Nov. 6th, 2016. My goal is to raise $5000 by Oct. 15th, 2016. I will be traveling with 50 of my closest missions friends and a few new friends from Elevate Life Church. Our mission will be to provide medical, dental, eye glasses, kids camp, hair cuts, family photos, small construction, men's and women's ministry and evangelism to the 30,000 unreached villages on the Amazon River. By meeting the physical needs, we establish relationships with the villiagers, opening the door to share the love of Jesus Christ with them.
You have an opportunity to become part of the mission by sowing a finanical seed that will reap a great harvest for the people of the Amazon River, Brazil! God is so amazing that he will provide a double blessing on your life for your contributions and seeds sown into this mission! This may be a once in a lifetime opportunity for some of these unreached villages. We will be traveling by boat to reach them and this may be their first and only encounter with the Gospel!
Many of you know that my husband, Zak, and our 3 beautiful kids moved back to Texas almost 3 years ago this summer. We were fortunate enough to find our amazing church, Elevate Life. This church has transformed our lives and provided solid alignments to take us to the next level. Elevate Life has helped us to grow in our marriage and in our abilities to parent our children. They have challenged and stretched and elevated our thinking, which has elevated every aspect of our lives.
God has been working on me for the last 3 years. He planted within me the desire to help others through missions work. I had the opportunity to go on my first 2 mission trips in 2015 to Mexico (where we did construction & kids camp) and to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (where we held a medical clinic, taught leadership and hosted kids camp). These experiences left me wanting more opportunities to see & serve others the way God sees & serves others. The accomplishments on these trips were amazing from building churches and homes for orphans to loving on God's children and teaching leadership to leaders of the community. God used me in a special way on each of these trips and I look forward to serving the people and being used as his vessel on this trip to the Amazon.
Thank you so very much for your finanical support and prayers as we become the hands and feet of God extended. Together with my supporters, I look forward to making an eternal impact and advancing the Kingdom of God for those less fortunate in the Amazon River, Brazil!!
