On February 22nd, Andrea was admitted to the hospital with serve headaches and not acting herself. The doctors determined that Andrea had meningitis (fluid buildup around her brain). After a week or more in a coma, multiple surgeries, and constant draining of the fluid around the brain, Andrea was starting the recovery process. On March 29th, Andrea had another setback and suffered a blood clot. Andrea's body will not survive this additional stress, and Patrick has decided to stop any life-saving measures. Andrea has been non-responsive in hospice care at IMC for the last week. The medical staff is making the last few days of Andrea's life comfortable as possible next to her love Patrick.
